Captain Jack Teague began recreational saltwater fishing in Florida in 1979. He has fished in the Panhandle of Florida from Destin to the Big Bend south of Tallahassee, the northeast coast in the Jacksonville area and since 1994 in the Florida Keys.

He obtained his captain's license in 1998 and began business by offering light tackle offshore charters. In 2001 he added a flats skiff to the operation and flats fishing as an alternative for clients. He is now obsessed with the skinny water and focuses on flats and backcountry fishing for tarpon, permit, bonefish, sharks and barracudas, especially fly fishing. Captain Jack is a fulltime, year round professional guide. He is a writer with a number of articles published on fishing in the Keys and photos of catches used as illustration.
